Elusa will be launching a Chef Series from July 31 to August 2. Through our deep connections to the region, we have partnered with Michelin-starred and celebrated chefs to bring you an unforgettable weekend of food and wine.
Our Chef Series will kick off on Thursday, July 31, with an intimate dinner hosted by local, celebrated chef Matt Spector. Matt and his wife, Sonjia, owned and operated the incredibly successful and innovative restaurant JoLe in Calistoga. The restaurant had a cult-like following but closed suddenly in 2016. We’re excited to bring JoLe and Chef Matt back to Calistoga for one special evening.
On August 1, Michelin-starred chef Steve Litke will be coming out of retirement for one night to prepare an incredible meal paired with Elusa wines. Chef Litke first received a Michelin star in 2006 and held it for the next 16 years until his retirement in 2022. During that time, he helped build Farmhouse Inn into one of the most sought-after destinations in the Bay Area. He’s known for an elegant, farm-to-table style that blends the best fresh, local ingredients with French and Japanese techniques.
Our Chef Series will culminate on Saturday, August 2, with our Founders Circle Dinner, prepared by local Michelin-starred celebrity chef Rogelio Garcia and hosted by famed winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown.
The evening begins with a one-of-a-kind blending masterclass hosted by Thomas Rivers Brown. After a brief cocktail hour, guests will sit down to enjoy five courses prepared by Chef Rogelio Garcia. A Napa native, Rogelio has made a name for himself in the Bay Area culinary scene over the years. He recently made waves after garnering a Michelin star at Auro, here in Calistoga—just eight months after opening. To have both Chef Rogelio and Thomas Rivers Brown together for one evening promises a truly unforgettable night.
