There is something uniquely compelling about wines served from large-format bottles. Magnums age more slowly and gracefully, preserving freshness and vibrancy while allowing wines to develop added depth, texture, and complexity over time.
There’s no better way to welcome the height of summer than with bubbles, reds, and blistered crusts straight from the fire. As the oven glows and pizzas crisp to perfection, we will feature an exciting lineup of large-format selections, including Schramsberg sparkling wines and both current and library vintages of J. Davies Cabernet Sauvignon from our Diamond Mountain Estate.
To accompany the wines, John Di Filippo will once again fire up his wood-burning oven to prepare artisan pizzas throughout the afternoon. His naturally leavened dough, carefully sourced ingredients, and beautifully blistered crusts make for the perfect pairing alongside both sparkling and cellar-aged wines.
And, of course, this party would not be complete without the taste of the newly released Querencia Brut Rosé. With crisp acidity, creamy texture, and lingering red fruit, this is a quintessential summer sparkling wine, perfect for afternoon picnics, twilight dinners, or a simple toast to warm evenings.
