Follow Napa Valley Harvest from Anywhere in the World

Harvest time in Napa Valley can be the most challenging time of year—and the most fun. Not unlike a sports match, where the final few minutes seem to dictate the outcome of the game, the decisions, audibles and adjustments that occur as the grapes come in feel as if the game is on the line. Here are three easy ways you can keep up with the #2023Harvest from anywhere in the world:

  1. HARVEST BLOG: While the information around harvest moves fast and furious, the Napa Valley Harvest Blog collects and posts these updates in chronological order with details that help tell the larger story of each vintage. Now in its tenth year, the harvest blog also acts as a great resource for looking back on the details of past vintages. Get your wine geek on at harvestnapa.com.
  2. SOCIAL MEDIA HASHTAGS: The wineries of Napa Valley have a lot of fun sharing and interacting with each other on social media in a series of harvest themes. The #PunchdownStyleChallenge is an annual social media event where wineries show off their punch down style then tag other wineries to see their punch down style. And style they have (especially on #TuTuTuesday)! Learn about these themes and more by following @NapaVintners on your favorite social media platform.
  3. NAPA VALLEY VINTNERS YOUTUBE CHANNEL: NVV shares vineyard updates throughout the entire year. Content ramps up as the final chapters of the vintage are told. These short videos capture a winemaker’s perspective on the vintage progress of some of Napa Valley’s most sought-after wines.

BONUS HARVEST CONTENT: The wineries of Napa Valley have teamed up with SommTV to broadcast their annual “Vintage Report” free to everyone in November! Filmed just after harvest ends, this is often the first summary of the vintage and a discussion about what can be expected.
