About Us
Four generations of the Salvestrin family have been growing wine grapes on our historic St. Helena vineyard since 1932. The vineyard was originally planted by Dr. George Belden Crane in 1860. We produce approximately 5,500 cases of wine each year, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Retaggio (super Tuscan blend), Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Sangiovese.
Rich Salvestrin is our owner/farmer/winemaker (with help from our Assistant Winemaker, Carolanne James and our Cellar Master, Jorge Carrillo) and lives on the property with his wife, Shannon, who manages all bookkeeping and more. Their oldest daughters, Hannah and Emma now work for the winery and their youngest, Tessa, is currently pursuing a professional soccer career in Portugal.
