About Us
Rombauer Vineyards was founded by Koerner and Joan Rombauer in 1980 when they set out to craft wines that bring people together. More than four decades later, that founding spirit lives on in every bottle and every visit — a commitment to connection and the Joy of Wine.
The Rombauer team is dedicated to sharing joy and genuine hospitality with every customer they meet. It's that passion and care that makes every experience, whether at the Napa Valley and Sierra Foothills tasting rooms, a restaurant, or your dinner table — something truly special.
Our award-winning portfolio includes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Merlot — each a reflection of the exceptional regions they come from.
The Napa Valley tasting room sits perched on a hillside in St. Helena, just off the Silverado Trail, with sweeping views stretching down the valley floor. Whether you're exploring the terraced gardens, home to over 100 varieties of plants and flowers, catching the valley views, or stepping into our iconic cave, every corner of the tasting room is designed to make the moment memorable.

Tasting Experience
Our St. Helena winery, set high on a knoll just off Silverado Trail, features our cozy Tasting Room, a lovely porch with dramatic views of the Mayacamas Mountains, the Napa Valley floor, a garden with over 100 varieties of plants and flowers, and whimsical works of art collected by Koerner Rombauer.
Visitor experiences include wine flights served at our Tasting Room bar, during which one of our friendly and knowledgeable hosts will guide you through a flight of our critically acclaimed wines. Those seeking a more in-depth education may enjoy our Cave Tour & Tasting, featuring a behind-the-scenes look at our winery while sampling limited-production and single-vineyard bottlings. Guests may also purchase wines by the glass to enjoy on our porch or in our gardens.
All visits require an appointment. Guests are welcome to stroll the pathways or to picnic in our scenic garden following their appointment.

Our lively and knowledgeable hosts can’t wait to entertain you with stories about the Rombauer history, team, and wines, all while raising a glass in celebration of the Joy of Wine.
We offer three types of Virtual Tastings-
1. Family & Friends- Create your own private virtual tasting with family and friends. Everyone can enjoy the experience together but in the comfort of their own home.
2. Corporate Virtual Tastings- Build relationships with clients and employees over a glass of wine. Ideal for special events and holiday parties. Your clients and employees will enjoy a private experience hosted by our tasting room experts.
3. Rombauer Hour - Go behind the scenes and taste with the Rombauer family and staff for a monthly virtual tasting broadcasted live over Facebook and YouTube!
