We are a small, family owned, producer of estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon (Zakin Estate), and Bordeaux-Style Red Wine (Zakin Hillside) founded in 2004. Antonio Galloni, of Vinous wrote our 2014 "is one of the most impressive debuts I have seen in Napa Valley in some time." Since then we, though our winemaker, Philippe Melka have continued to produce small quantities of beautiful wines that represent the unique growing characteristics of the our volcanic hillside land.

The property comprises 150 acres on Howell Mountain of which approximately 4 acres are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. All wines are estate grown on Howell Mountain with our Zakin Estate in the Howell Mountain AVA. Our winemaker, Philippe Melka hand crafts
