About Us
In 1981, Silverado Vineyards was established in the heart of Napa Valley. The winery borrows its name from the abandoned mining town at the top of Napa Valley. Silverado’s ranches were first planted to vines by Napa pioneers between 1865 and 1895. Each vineyard played an important role in establishing the reputation of its appellation: Coombsville, Stags Leap District, and Yountville.
Silverado Vineyards' winemaking is rooted in the vineyards -- sustainably farming its estate vineyards in the Napa Valley -- and is dedicated to expressing the delicious quality and character of the grapes grown. Silverado Vineyards produces Single Vineyard and Estate Grown, Produced & Bottled and Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Chardonnay, as well as small production wines, such as Malbec and Kerner, that are only available direct-to-consumer.

Tasting Experience
Nestled in the hills of the Stags Leap District, Silverado Vineyards winery has been a favorite wine country destination and home to some of the Napa Valley’s most-recognized wines for forty years. The winery tasting room and outdoor terraces are perched on a hill with outstanding views of the valley and welcoming hospitality. Appointments are required for all parties. We are currently seating on our two large terraces.
