Tasting Experience
Currently our tastings take place in our historic stone cellar while we renovate our old tasting space. The cellar was built in 1879 with stone quarried from nearby Glass Mountain, and is the 4th longest, continuously operated winery in Napa Valley. We offer two different tasting flights in the tasting room by appointment and specialize in Bordeaux varietals.

Unique Features
Markham is the fourth-oldest continuously operated winery in Napa Valley, originally founded in 1874 by Bordeaux immigrant Jean Laurent. The historic stone cellar was built from local stone which was hewn and transported from nearby Glass Mountain Quarry. The winery became Markham Vineyards in 1977, when it was named after then owner Bruce Markham. Today, the stone walls encase hundreds of wine-filled oak barrels, creating a truly unforgettable event venue.
