About Us
Stop by the Markham Vineyards Visitor Center during your wine country adventure - as seen on the public television series Vintage: Napa Valley 2012! Enjoy tasting our estate and winery-only wines while viewing local art in the Markham Gallery. Tours and tastings are also available by appointment so you can get a closer look at one of Napa Valley's oldest continuously working wineries. We love celebrating special occasions with our guests and specialize in pairing our award-winning wines with culinary treats from the valley's most celebrated chefs. Our historic stone cellar, built in 1879, and outdoor patio area can accommodate casual luncheons, rehearsal dinners or large corporate events for up to 250 guests.

Tasting Experience
Stylistically, the winery and tasting room combines both historic and modern elements, with its old stone facade and its subdued metal roofing supported by round wooden columns. The tasting room has a large fireplace and the wineries art gallery features photographs by Rolling Stone Magazine's first chief photographer, Baron Wolman and includes many of the iconic covers.

Unique Features
Markham is the fourth-oldest continuously operated winery in Napa Valley, founded in 1874 by Bordeaux immigrant Jean Laurent. The historic stone cellar was built from local stone which was hewn and transported from nearby Glass Mountain Quarry. Today, the stone walls encase hundreds of wine-filled oak barrels, creating a truly intoxicating aroma and unforgettable event venue.
