About Us
Located in Dutch Henry Canyon on the east side of Napa Valley's Silverado Trail, the Heimark family became the first to plant vines on this pristine site over twenty years ago. The vineyard occupies a unique southwest-facing slope on an ancient landslide framed by forest, creating a distinct microclimate characterized by misty mornings and golden sunsets, while sharing its natural habitat with local wildlife including wild turkey, California black bear, and mule deer.
Beyond winemaking, Heimark Vineyard represents the family's commitment to sustainable farming practices that honor the terroir, producing small-lot wines that showcase the vineyard's exceptional character while also supporting their broader mission of educational outreach—with a portion of proceeds dedicated to the education of Napa Valley farmworkers and global education initiatives, reflecting the family's thirty-year commitment to educational programs in Kenya, India, Ghana, Nicaragua, and across the United States.
