About Us
Perched on Howell Mountain, Bravante Vineyards is a family-owned boutique estate winery dedicated to crafting small-lot, premium wines. Since planting our Stone Ridge Vineyard in 1998, we have focused on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, later expanding to include Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Sauvignon Blanc Musque. After years of refining our craft off-site, we built our estate winery in 2005, achieving the prestigious status of being 100% estate grown, produced, and bottled by 2009.
Our commitment to quality over quantity starts in the vineyard and extends through meticulous barrel aging and bottle maturation. By embracing minimal intervention in both farming and winemaking, we allow our wines to fully express the distinctive terroir of Howell Mountain. Experience our award-winning estate wines, including our celebrated Howell Mountain Merlot, with a private tasting in our estate cave and tasting room, available by appointment from 10 AM – 4:30 PM.

Tasting Experience
Our winery is nestled between two caves, dug out of the rocky, Howell Mountain hillside. One cave is where our wines rest in barrel until they are ready for bottling, and then aging some more, before release to the public. This additional bottle aging is an additional unique benefit we afford our guests and winery supporters to insure that they receive our wines at the start of their perfection plateau. The other cave, on the other side of the winery, is purpose built as our hospitality venue and creates a wonderful environment for tasting and education. In front of our barrel aging cave, overlooking the wild Howell Mountain hillside we provide a beautiful area to picnic alongside a grassy event area. If you watch close you will likely catch a glimpse of the deer and other local wildlife that we share our beautiful estate with.
