About Us
Mario Bazán an immigrant from Oaxaca, México, arrived in the Napa Valley in 1973. Charmed by its beauty, he settled and began his life’s work in the vineyards. Mario’s experience and dedication to excellence in the vineyards have coaxed him to capture the essence of grape growing to the bottle. Mario Bazán Cellars, a boutique and family run winery, has been operating since 2005.

Our tasting room offers a unique and intimate experience. Come and join us to learn about our wines and how Mario Bazán went from being a laborer to business owner. He has farmed some of the most iconic vineyards in the Napa Valley over the last four decades. Our wines are a true testament to the lifework of a farmworker who grew alongside the vines.
